Everything Alaska US
Posted by ktva on May 3rd, 2012

Today felt a lot more like early April rather than early May for much of Alaska. Temperatures in the Interior and out west were in the 20s and 30s. Bethel picked up 1.5’’ of snow since midnight. Certainly not very springlike weather. In south central temperatures were in the 30s and 40s. The good news for us is that temperatures will moderate back into the low 50s by the weekend as a more southerly onshore flow returns to the region.
